FIRE CHIEF

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
1) Managing a Fire & Emergency Services program 2) Providing assistance, advice, and recommendations concerning fire protection/prevention; planning, managing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating fire prevention programs; 3) Administering a fire and emergency services budget; and 4) Reviewing reports, records, codes, and procedures to make suggestions on improvements to firefighting techniques and /or polices. NOTE:

Fire Officer IV, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, Airport Firefighter and HAZMAT Incident Commander. These certifications must have been awarded by the DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications you will be rated ineligible. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
