FIRE PROTECTION INSPECTOR

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Conducting periodic fire protection inspections on installation; 2) Providing fire prevention and protection training to various groups of people on the installation; 3) Identifying fire hazards and safety deficiencies; 4) Maintaining fire prevention/protection systems; and 5) Ensuring building codes are in compliance with federal, state, and local fire protection/prevention ordinances, regulations, and policies. Fire Inspector I and II, Fire Instructor I and HAZMAT Awareness, CPR as a first Responder. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
